New equipment for CMRP

04 February 2022, 14:40 1966

On January 31, 2022, German process equipment Gleason P2000 was commissioned at this site. As you know, the mining equipment section of the mechanical assembly shop at the central mechanical repair plant has been expanded. Last year, machines used in the production of various parts for equipment were purchased for this area.

This equipment is a metal-cutting machine for machining cylindrical-shaped parts up to 100 tons in order to obtain a toothed profile. Site supervisor Feruz Tandjarov: “The equipment is characterized by high accuracy, efficiency, economy, safety, the processes are fully automated, and the human factor is eliminated.

The advantage of this equipment is that, if previously to process one part took about 3.5-4 days, now this process will last three times less. The degree of accuracy is 0.001 µm.

Installation of the Gleason P8000 process equipment will begin in February. This equipment is used for production of drum mill crowns. Previously it took 30 days to produce one crown, but with the new equipment it is possible to produce two similar parts in that time.

As a result of the development of the Yoshlik-I deposit, as well as the commissioning of copper concentrating plant-3, the need for these machines will increase. For this purpose, there are plans to install another large piece of equipment at the site.

It should be noted that thanks to modern equipment, the plant’s structural subdivisions are provided with high-quality switching valves, factories and plants with gear spare parts. As a consequence, there is no need to import them.
