On December 14 of this year, a meeting was held at the Palace of culture “Metallurg” between the Chairman of the Board of “Almalyk MMC” JSC, Senator Abdulla Khursanov, with the plant’s labor veterans and non-working pensioners of the city.

The event was also attended by the responsible persons of the Almalyk territorial council of veterans of the mining and metallurgical industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Almalyk city branch of the republican social fund “Nuroniy”.

The meeting was held in the format of a sincere and open dialogue. Abdulla Khursanov emphasized that the work carried out by the head of our state is aimed at ensuring human rights and interests. He also noted that representatives of the older generation enjoy special respect and honor, and all the necessary conditions for a comfortable and dignified life are created for them. In particular, the plant consistently shows care and attention to the older generation, considering this as an important and noble mission, and such activities will continue.

During the event, labor veterans made a number of proposals. In particular, Abdulla Khursanov supported such proposals concerning healthcare, holding of cultural events and sports competitions, and organization of trips to the historical cities of our country.

AMMC, together with the Almalyk territorial council of veterans of the mining and metallurgical industry, jointly organize various entertainment events for veterans’ leisure time. In August 2024, under the sponsorship of the plant, the “Nuroniylar Maskani” complex was put into operation. All conditions have been created here so that the older generation can spend their free time meaningfully, reading fine literature, playing chess and checkers.

During the meeting, AMMC pensioners expressed gratitude to the head of our state and the management of our enterprise for their attention and care for the older generation.

At the end of the meeting, A. Khursanov emphasized that all proposals and wishes of pensioners will be taken into account.
