The Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex is actively implementing initiatives to integrate science and production, which helps improve the quality of training specialists.

As Deputy Head of the Personnel Training and Retraining Department of the Training Center Bakhtiyor Niyazmetov noted, AMMC and the Almalyk branch of the Tashkent State Technical University are building fruitful cooperation within the framework of the dual education system. This approach allows combining the theoretical training of students with the practical skills needed in production.

As part of this cooperation, 18 students studying in the areas of mining and mineral processing successfully passed the selection and were sent for industrial practice in the divisions of the complex.

As part of the cooperation, it is planned to create branches of the Tashkent State Technical University AF department in the structural divisions of the complex in 2025. In particular, branches of the mining department will be created in the Kalmakyr mine department, metallurgy - at the zinc complex, chemistry - in the central analytical laboratory, mechanics - at the central repair and mechanical complex, power engineering - in the electric grid department. Currently, regulatory documents for their organization are being prepared.

In addition, classes will be held on the basis of the department branches, where employees of the AMMC structural divisions will study theory from teachers of the higher educational institution, which will ensure their professional growth and the introduction of new knowledge into the work process.
