According to the World Health Organization, the incidence of cancer among women continues to increase every year. Experts emphasize that early detection of the disease significantly increases the chances of successful treatment.

It is important to note that breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women. Modern medicine has made significant progress in the diagnosis and treatment of this disease, which allows saving millions of lives. However, despite this, breast cancer remains the most common cancer among women around the world. Moreover, it ranks first among the causes of death in women from malignant tumors.

On the initiative of the management of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, together with the Tashkent Regional Branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology, on January 10 of this year, informational and educational events were organized for women working in the structural divisions of the complex. The main goal of the events was to raise awareness of the importance of early diagnosis and treatment of oncological diseases.

During the events, held in the format of an open dialogue, specialists not only talked about the prevention of breast cancer and gynecological diseases, but also explained in detail how important it is to undergo examinations in a timely manner and detect the disease at an early stage. Particular attention was paid to the issues of available diagnostic methods and new achievements in treatment. The participants showed keen interest, actively asking questions about risk factors and disease prevention. This format of interaction allowed not only to increase the level of awareness, but also to create an atmosphere of trust, where each woman could receive recommendations from specialists.
