Today, January 14, a spiritual and educational event dedicated to the Day of Defenders of the Motherland and the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held in the Metallurg Palace of Culture.

At the beginning of the event, the Chairman of the Board of JSC Almalyk MMC, Senator Abdulla Khursanov, made a speech in which he noted that thanks to the support and reforms carried out by the head of our state, the power of our national army is growing stronger every year. Abdulla Kholmuradovich also emphasized that each of us should value and protect peace, and cordially congratulated the military and law enforcement officers on this significant date.

In honor of the holiday, a group of the complex's employees whose children are doing their military service were awarded letters of gratitude and memorable gifts.

In addition, memorable gifts were presented to servicemen of the military unit of the security forces of the categorized facilities of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan serving in the copper complex, employees of the departmental paramilitary security, security services of the industrial railway transport department and the Kalmakyr mine department, and the Almalyk city defense department. A special tribute was paid to military veterans.

The event was decorated with a rich concert program prepared by creative teams of the Metallurg Palace of Culture. The spectacular combat demonstration performances of the departmental paramilitary security employees, who demonstrated their professionalism and high level of training, made a vivid impression on those present.
