On January 22, within the framework of the agreement between AMMC and the University of Geological Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an educational seminar was held with the participation of foreign specialists. Korean Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences Kim Sang Yup gave a lecture on the topic "Features of Uzbekistan's Deposits in Comparison with World Analogues", which aroused great interest among specialists in the field of geology of the complex.
In addition, a seminar was held for metallurgists and employees of the complex’s chemical departments under the guidance of Ukrainian Doctor of Chemical Sciences Lyudmila Andriyko. She presented the topic "Fluoride technology for processing copper production slag and the possibilities of its application for the synthesis of highly dispersed silicon dioxide", which allowed the participants to better understand modern approaches to material processing.
One of the seminar participants, the control master of the gold and silver refining shop of the copper smelter Kristina Aliyeva, noted that the information on waste processing and obtaining useful substances, such as sorbents and collective concentrate, was especially valuable for her. She expressed gratitude to the organizers and emphasized the importance of regularly inviting foreign specialists to exchange experiences and improve their skills.
Training events allowed employees to acquire new knowledge and skills that contribute to professional growth and the introduction of modern technologies.
