On July 17, a videoconference meeting was held under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, dedicated to the analysis of ensuring economic growth rates in the regions and industries in the first half of the year, as well as a discussion of priority tasks until the end of this year.

A meeting was recently held at the Almalyk branch of NRTU “MISiS”, where ways to implement these tasks were discussed. The event was attended by the management, heads of structural divisions and specialists of AMMC.

During the meeting, it was noted that during the reporting period, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant produced products worth 17.9 trillion soums, the forecast in this area was fulfilled by 116%. The forecast for copper production was fulfilled by 100%, gold by 100.3%, silver by 100.7%.

The target for export of manufactured products was fulfilled by 106.9%. Investments in the amount of 855 million US dollars were mastered (the forecast was fulfilled by 100%). The volume of localized products amounted to 838 billion soums (the forecast was fulfilled by 103%). The cost of production was reduced by 508 billion soums. The forecasts for payments to the budget were fulfilled by 134%, for net profit - by 115%.

The reports of the deputy chairmen of the board and heads of structural divisions were discussed in an analytical and critical spirit. The main tasks for the second half of the year were defined as:

fulfillment of the indicators of the approved material balances, including forecasts for the production of copper and precious metals;

completion of construction and phased commissioning of industrial facilities within the framework of investment projects and projects with the participation of new joint ventures;

increase in the production of powder metallurgy and other metals important for industry, as well as taking measures to commission the second stage of the plant for processing waste from the Ingichka deposit;

uninterrupted supply of production with the necessary raw materials and spare parts;

high-quality preparation of production capacities for stable operation in the autumn-winter period of 2024/2025, as well as the creation of the necessary reserves of coal and fuel oil;

fulfillment of the indicators of the Localization Program for the current year, high-quality development of the draft program for 2025 with the participation of all structural divisions based on the analysis of the list of goods imported today;

development of the Concept for the development and improvement of the efficiency of operation of technological, rail and road transport;

expansion and implementation of projects for automation and digitalization of technological processes and management in structural divisions;

establishment of high-quality training and retraining of personnel, engineers capable of managing technologies and modern equipment, with wide use of the capabilities of the training center and the Engineering School, as well as the implementation of an HR system for personnel management and work with them.

All forces and capabilities are mobilized to implement these tasks.
