On October 28-29, 2025, the 7th International Mining and Metallurgy Forum – UIMF-2025 – was held in Tashkent at the Congress Hall of the “Uzexpocentre” MMC, as part of the 19th International Exhibition “MiningMetalsUzbekistan 2025”. The event was organized with the support of the Ministry of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Uzbekistan Metallurgy Association.
On October 28, 2025, on the eve of Uzbekistan Trade Unions Day November 11, the “Best Workshop Committee Chairperson” competition was held under the slogan “Uzbekistan Trade Unions: 120 Years with the People!”
On October 31, 2025, in accordance with the annual work plan and regulations of the AMMC Employees’ Trade Union Council Women’s Commission, and dedicated to November 11 – Uzbekistan Trade Unions Day and the 120th anniversary of the trade union movement, a sports competition in table tennis and volleyball was organized.
On November 1–2 of this year, the final stage of the basketball competitions of the “Spartakiada-2025” sports event, held among the employees of the complex’s structural divisions, took place.
On October 30, in honor of “Engineers and Mechanics Day,” a professional skills competition “Best Mechanic – 2025” was held at the 3rd Copper Concentrator Plant among repairmen, pump operators, turners, and welders.

According to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Designating the Day of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan” adopted on November 20, 2020, November 11 has been officially recognized as Trade Unions Day of Uzbekistan. Moreover, this year marks the 120th anniversary of the establishment of the trade union movement in Uzbekistan. In connection with these celebrations, activists and veterans of trade unions across the country are being honored.
