Metallurgical section

The treatment of the concentrates and the industrial products, containing copper and noble metals, with obtaining the finished products. The plant consists of ten main department, and is a concluding link in the copper production process chain. The main products: refined copper, refined noble metals, commercial selenium, commercial tellurium, sulfuric acid, copper sulfate, SBA (СБА), ammonium perrhenate, roasted molybdenum middling product, and enameled copper wire.

The main activity is the treatment of the sulfide copper-molybdenum ore to producing copper concentrate and molybdenum middling product, from which - beside non-ferrous metals – also precious and rare metals are recovered...
