For January of 2022, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgy Complex’s workforce met production targets, achieving high efficiency.
“Almalyk MMC” JSC is a diversified industrial enterprise that unites dozens of subdivisions. Along with the main production facilities, it also includes auxiliary services, the work of which, at first glance, is not visible, but at the same time much depends on how timely it is implemented. One of them is the Production Automation Department (PAD), which was formed on February 1, 2012.
Investment project “Development of “Yoshlik-I” deposit” is realized in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 1, 2017 No. ПП-2807 “About measures on expansion of production capacities of “Almalyk JSC MMC” on the basis of “Yoshlik-I” deposit”.
On the basis of order No. 1326 dated 25.10.2021 for “Almalyk MMC” JSC in the structure of industrial railway transport department the Service for extraction and shipment of non-metallic materials was created.
One of the main productions of the zinc plant is the cadmium workshop, whose equipment and technology make it possible to extract foreign-metal impurities (cadmium, copper, indium) from the leaching workshop products and to remove harmful impurities from the hydrometallurgical process, while producing zinc sulfate.
These tasks have been solved by the training center in “Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Company” JSC for 20 years.
During the reporting period commodity production was 353.8% billion UZ Soums, the forecast was fulfilled by 215.8%. For internal needs of the plant, products worth 23.7 billion UZ Soums were produced.
The company accounts for 7 percent of the country’s industrial production and 15 percent of exports. Thanks to the recent increase in investment in science and technology, new deposits have been discovered and production is increasing.
